Cold Front in Oklahoma!!

Yes, you heard me right!  We are experiencing a cold front in Oklahoma!  The temperature is only supposed to get to 103 today!  I told the children to pull out their winter clothes.  We wouldn't want anyone to catch cold on a day like this!  I think I might be delirious from the heat!  We did have a storm blow through here last Wednesday night and got some photos of the wall cloud that hung out over our bus for a good long time!  We received a bit of rain and some hail from that storm, but not enough to really make a big difference in the drought.

We had some friends, the Waller Family from Tennessee, visit a while back and had a terrific time.  The children spent some time in the lake at our farm having mudball fights and them we headed to my folks house and they were able to swim in a pool (clean water and no fish) and eat pizza.  The Wallers were real troopers and stayed on the land with us and were even willing to share the one bathroom we had in the bus.  Needless to say,  we bonded while they were here.  Nothing like sharing a bathroom to make you feel like family!!

We then went to our friends, the Davis family in Olney, Texas.  We spent the weekend with them and celebrated New Moon and Shabbat!!  Woo Hoo!!  Double Shabbat!!  Had a great time and the Braddy family who has been living on the land with us also stayed at the Davis house.  We all had a marvelous time!!

a girls sleep-over...

will wipe you out!!!

We have had some major storms move through this area and we thought you might be interested in what an Oklahoma wall cloud looks like.  This was taken out at the farm.  You can also see our bus in this photo!

We had another double Shabbat the next weekend and spent that at Mom and Dads house.  Sarah needed to get some sewing done so we ended up staying there for a few extra days after Shavuot!!  Mom and Dad have been a wonderful blessing and have allowed us to stay with them whenever we need to get sewing done or just when we would like to have a break from the farm.  It has been really special to be so close to them.  One important reason why we are in Oklahoma is so that we can be close to family.

The Braddy family moved this last Friday back into town.  It should work good for them as they were spending alot of money on gas going to and from work everyday.  They will be missed.  It has been different not having another family living here with us.  We kinda got used to always having people around.  All of our friends will be missed.  We now have 6 campsites set up with sewer, and electric and we haul in water.  Anybody who would like to come visit is more than welcome!

We are in the process of planning our trip to Israel!  YEA!!!  We now have an apartment rented and Monty has been looking for airplane tickets.  We will be in Israel starting August 1 and should be coming back to the States around the beginning of November!  We are all very excited!!  We have also planned some packages for folks who would like to come to Israel and help with the harvest, but can only stay for one or two weeks.  We will be helping Hayovel in the mornings to harvest grapes and will tour around some really special places in Israel in the afternoons.  If anyone is interested in some info on these 1 or 2 week options, you can email us.

Blessings to everyone and we pray that the Father in Heaven gives you his "peace that passes all understanding!"

The Warren Girls,
Nancy and Sarah

Family Week Texas

We headed to Big Sandy, Texas and had a wonderful time!!!  I think we had about 150 people camping at the Alert Academy Campground.  There was terrific worship and dance.  The weather was very nice and we met some new friends.
