HI From the Beach

Hello Everyone,

So, we went to the beach today.  The first beach we went to was very pretty and we were having a wonderful time.  Then a nice man came and told us that the water was polluted! and that we needed to get the little children out of it right away!!   So, we asked around and found this!!!

Isn't it beautiful!!!     It was AMAZING!!!   We had a few miner injures, but on a whole everyone had a great time.   The surf was pretty high.    It knocked Mom and Devin off their feet.  They're ok, a little banged up, but thankfully not to bad.   They might be sore tomorrow though.    But they both said it was still awesome. :)

Always,

And we're off again!!

Hey Everyone,
It's been awhile since our last post and a lot has happened! It looks like the Warrens are on the move again.  :)   This time we decided to go a little bit bigger.  We are moving to...Puerto Rico!!    The plane ride was crazy.  I'm sure after checking our 18th bag the lady at the counter was wondering, "who are these people".

Surprisingly enough, it all went very smooth.  And with 8 adults, 3 children, 2 dogs, 38 bags, 2 strollers and 3 car seats that is beyond incredible.    Once we checked our bags it was time for security.
This is just our carry-on bags.

I could make up some crazy story to liven things up, but I won't.   It went great, a few pat downs, but with the way we look who can blame them. :)  Once through security we had 3 hours to blow before our flight.   After getting some food and charging all of our computers it was finally time to board our first plane.   We were finally on our way, we were moving!   It's funny because even though I've moved a crazy number of times, this time was different.  It is our first move that we needed to fly to get there.   We are all so excited!

Our first flight was so smooth, I mean this captain could fly!  One of the best landing's I've ever had.   After landing in Fort Lauderdale,  we waited for the strollers to come off the plane. Only one did.  😒 After talking to a lady that did not seem to want to help us, we concluded that it was lost.  Hoping it would somehow make it to Aguadilla we left and found our next gate.  At this point we had 3 more hours to blow before our flight to Aguadilla, Puerto Rico.   This time was spent trying to find a way to take the dogs on a walk without going out of security, not an easy mission.   We finally put paper down in a back hallway and let them go there.   Unconventional but it worked :).    Time actually seemed to go by rather fast, and it was time to board our next and last flight.    This flight was not as smooth but at no fault of the pilot, we hit some turbulence and were shaken up a bit but everything leveled off for landing.   We were there!  We had made it! Yes, it was two in the morning and all the kids were tired and crabby, and we had lost a stroller on the way, but we were finally there and it was an amazing feeling.   Everyone was so nice.  The man with our rental house was there to show us the way to the house (I guess it's pretty hard to find it at first) and he was so nice.   After renting our two cars, one being a very small suv and the other, an even smaller sedan, our very tired eyes panned over to our gigantic pile of luggage and everyone realized we needed another car.

So with our three rent cars and Candeleria's ( that's the name of the caretaker for the house we rented) we were off.   The house was everything we imagined!  Five bedrooms, three baths and a swimming pool.  The yard has the biggest avocado tree with the biggest avocados you've ever seen!   The view is like a post card, and the courtyard is beautiful!  After getting to the house at 3:30 in the morning, we just crashed.  Getting up the next morning was hard, but worth it.   Perfect weather and everyone very excited about checking out Rincon (that's the town our house is in) before Yom Kippur.   We were all very hungry, so food was first priority.   After finding out that the restaurant Abby had found for us was closed on Wednesday, we ended up at a grocery store looking for food.   Let's just say shopping is going to be different down here.   First, almost everything is in Spanish and everything is more expensive, but it was still lots of fun.

After loading up our cart and checking out, we headed to the Little Caesars pizza just down the road, then back to the house.   The pizza was amazing, but maybe it was because we were all starving.   Then we all went swimming!  Hard to think how a day could be much better.
                                                                                     Always,
