Colorado Bound!!!!!
We are now on our way to the great state of Colorado! We left the homeplace yesterday and YES, we are in our "never give up", 14 year old suburban. Transmission has been fixed, but as we drove last night something began to smell like burnt rubber. Finally figured out that muffler has a hole and is making the back of the car somewhat warm. We had a rubber-backed rug on the floor of the back and that was the smell. The backing was getting warm and because the rug was new it gave off a VERY strong smell!!!
We decided to stop for the night in Dalhart, Texas. Got a room at the luxurious ECONO lodge.
The room was kinda on the small side, but it was clean so we were satisfied.
Jasey Davis is with us on this trip and she made sure there were no bedbugs. Somewhat of a pet peeve of hers. All of the Warrens were asleep and snoring pretty fast, but Jasey kept watch for bedbugs most of the night! Boaz (Sarahs yorkshire terrier) was going to sleep with the girls, SO he had to have a bath before bed!!! Very cute when he is wet!
Sarah and Will both had to try out the springs on the bed. They said the bed passed inspection with "FLYING" colors!!
We just drove past Capulin Volcano! It is in New Mexico and for 20 years Monty and I have been saying that we were going to stop and drive the children up the volcano. I guess it will have to wait again!
We are driving in the fog right now and are on our way to Raton Pass. Praying that the fog will lift and the sun will be shining when we get there!
More news to come!
Until next time!!

Time for campfire and smores!
Monday night we all stayed up late (2:00am) around the campfire, eating smores and watching the lunar eclipse. Such a beautiful night and it wasn't too cold. Dayton and Will had a contest of who could put more marshmallows in their mouth! Dayton won!! It was hard to watch them and not gag! You know how it is, when it gets late everything seems funny! We had the stereo set up outside and the kids were able to dance as well. Lots of fun had by all!
Will write more later! Shalom from the Warren Girls!

Time for the BIG FLUSH!!!!
SWOOSH!!!!!!! You are free to "move" on the ranch! I hope this is not offensive to anyone, but we are truly grateful that our wonderful, beautiful, fully operational septic tank is now open for business! WOO HOO!!!
The guys have worked very hard to provide us with this service and we are very thankful!!!
Tonight we will be staying up late to watch for the lunar eclipse. We are planning a campfire and smores! Should be lots of fun! Photos will be posted later!
Thought you might enjoy a look at the sunset! BEAUTIFUL!!!
