Roller-Coaster Life!!!

Good Morning!!!

It has truly been a long time since we wrote last!  SORRY!!

"Life" has been somewhat hectic for us since the last entry!

When you were with us last time, I (Nancy) had just had a little tumble and hurt my leg.  WELL,  all was going so good until yesterday.   I had crutches and a brace for my knee and it seemed as if I had "dodged a bullet."  Not much pain in my leg and I had even begun to put some weight on the knee.  Woke up yesterday morning and noticed some pain in my foot which got worse all day long.  By last night I was in a lot of pain and now cannot put ANY weight on my leg.  Will have to see what today brings!

Our friends made it to the ranch about 2 weeks ago and are still with us.  They travel in a bus full time and have decided to try to help us (for a while) on the ranch.  Such a blessing!

Just this last weekend we went to a conference.  We set up a booth and had items for sale from Israel, herbal supplements, and lots of good info about Israel.  We had a terrific time and got to make some new friends.  They had wonderful speakers and hopefully we all learned a lot!

All the boys with their friends
Right now we are at Monty's folks house.  As we were on our way home yesterday the car (a 14 year old suburban that we love!!!) protested the drive!!!!  It just said, "No more."  The transmission gave out! We limped along at around 40 miles per hour because we still had 1st and 2nd gear.  The truckers were not so happy with us!  They honked and we waved!  What are you gonna do?  After 4 hours of "limping"  we finally arrived at our destination.  The guys took the car into the shop and now we are waiting to hear the final verdict on the car.

SO---This is where we are for now!!  We are determined to just enjoy wherever we are and for right now this is the place.  Our friends are holding down the fort at home and we are doing our best to get back there to help them.  I am either on the couch or in the bed trying to give my leg some rest and the guys are still busy with the internet work and of course, Sarah, is doing a great job of keeping us fed and getting all the clothes washed.

Those of you who actually read this blog will begin to realize that it seems like  "The Warrens"  always have something going on that wasn't supposed to be a part of the plan.  We have come to understand that   "Life" is what you make it.  We have chosen to make it fun no matter what comes our way!!!  Our prayer is that the Father in Heaven will give us the ability and faith to continue to walk that path!!

Hope everyone out there is doing well and that your life is full of wonderful (if not unexpected) times!!!

Blessings from The Warren Girls

  3. Sure hope you're feeling better, Nancy! Sorry to hear about your knee. Nice-looking booth you had! Is that the business you blogged about? I'll look up the website to find out more--sounds neat! Are you back home now after the car troubles?
