Abigail arrived at the appointed place to begin watching for her amazing bridegroom!!!
In the distance we began to hear the voices of the groomsmen announcing
the arrival of the bridegroom. Shofars began to sound all around us!
The excitement was at a fevered pitch...and then HE WAS THERE! Riding
in a white convertible, sitting on a cloud of white, (otherwise known as
a feather comforter), coming to get his bride!!!
Dayton presented Abigail with her ring and a bouquet full of vibrant
red roses and blue and white flowers, and yes, in front of all of us,
gave her a sweet and loving kiss! He then turned to the crowd and
invited all of us to follow them to the amphitheater for the ceremony!

WONDERFUL WEDDING WEEKEND
SIMPLY AMAZING!!
I cannot think of any better words to describe the WEDDING WEEKEND in June for Aaron and Victoria Hood and Dayton and Abigail Warren! It was a glorious time of anticipation, fellowship, laughter, and being allowed once again to experience the love that flows between a bridegoom and his bride! A time when we can again see an earthly picture of the Heavenly Feast that our Bridegroom, Yahushua, has planned for all of us! These weddings are exciting, full of emotion, and wonderful! This leads me to dream of what the most perfect Bridegroom of all time, Yahushua, has in store for His bride! HALLELUJAH!!
The Wedding Story of Dayton and Abigail Warren really begins in 2010. Our family, (the Warrens) were in Jerusalem for the Harvest of Grapes with Hayovel! Monty was asked to pick up a father and daughter from the airport. The father was Paul Brendemuhl and the daughter was Abigail! As Yahuah would have it, they stayed with us for the weekend and endured all kinds of excitement with the Warren family! To say the least, this time bonded Monty and Paul. They studied and discussed scripture until the wee hours of the morning and all of us made it through being stranded outside of Jericho with a broken van! The dads had become fast friends, but none of us were thinking about how Abigail was going to impact Dayton's life and ours as well!
As we skip to 2011, we (the Warrens) were once again in Jerusalem with Hayovel. Wonderful times for sure!!! The Brendemuhls were coming for harvest! Woo Hoo!! Yes, the whole family! BUT, they could not find a place to rent. WELL, the Father had blessed us with an amazing house with lots of room. SO, what better place for the Brendemuhl's to stay than with us!?! Yet again, the Father was putting His plans in order without us even knowing! Our minds were focused on the betrothal of our oldest son, Barrett, to his lovely bride, Devin, so once more our eyes were closed as to how dear the Brendemuhl Family would become to us! We just knew that we had a MARVELOUS time in that house with all of its occupants!

THE WONDERFUL HOUSE THAT YAHUAH GAVE US IN JERUSALEM!!!! |
SOME FOLKS FROM THE HOUSE...INCLUDING THE B'S! ABIGAIL IS FRONT AND CENTER!! |
In December of 2012, Dayton began to feel that the Father was leading him to pray for a bride! As his parents, we were in agreement! He and his dad spent time together talking about what Dayton was looking for in a wife. Spiritually and physically. Family Week in Kentucky came along and Dayton was still in prayer about a bride. We spent some time with the Brendemuhl's and continued to realize how much our families had in common, but Dayton was not ready to approach Paul. Dayton and Monty were spending so much time in prayer and over time the Father made it clear that Abigail was the one! The Brendemuhl's came to our farm for a visit and during their visit Dayton became sure that Abigail was who he should pursue. Dayton went to Monty and told him that he was ready to approach Paul. He didn't want the Brendemuhl's to leave for Alaska without at least asking. Monty told Dayton that he would speak to Paul on his behalf, but he also explained to Dayton that this would probably be a long process. Dayton prepared himself to not have an answer before they left. Monty spoke to Paul on a Thursday and then we hunkered down for what we thought could be a long wait! SURPRISE!!!!! Four days later Paul told Dayton and Monty that he had spoken to Susan, Abigail's mom, and to Abigail and they were all in agreement that Dayton was the GUY for Abigail!!!! Imagine our utter shock and complete happiness!!! The Father in Heaven has a wonderful way of making His plans come to fruition!!

Paul and Susan brought Abigail out to our barn and right then and there Dayton dropped to one knee and spoke a very sweet proposal! Abigail said "YES!" And things began to move rather rapidly! It was decided that the wedding needed to take place before the Brendemuhl's went back to Alaska. This was a decision based somewhat on finances, but Dayton and Abigail, I must say, were thrilled with the plan!!

The Warrens have BIG news!!!!!!
Dayton has found his BRIDE!!!! Praise Yahuah!! Drum roll please...her name is Abigail Brendemuhl!!
We met Paul Brendemuhl and his daughter, Abigail, in Israel in 2010 when they came to harvest grapes with Hayovel. The friendship between our families has grown over the last 3 years. The whole Brendemuhl family stayed with us in Israel again in 2011 for almost 3 months.
Dayton began to earnestly pray about his bride in December of last year and 5 days ago felt led to have Monty approach Paul on his behalf. Yesterday Paul gave Dayton his permission to ask Abigail to be his wife...And SHE SAID YES!!!!!!!!!!!
The betrothal was last night and was a very special private time between our families. Monty presented Paul and Susan with a beautiful pearl representing the pearl of great price talked about in Scripture!
The cup representing their covenant to one another came next! First Dayton drank and then YES, Abigail drank from the cup!!! Wonderful!!!
Following the cup was the amazing time of Devin helping Abigail put on her headcovering! I never get tired of seeing how these beautiful young women of Elohim transform before our eyes into beautiful young brides! And how the amazing young men rise up to become amazing husbands!
As we closed, we had a sweet time of prayer and blessings for this brand new family! Father may you bless and keep this couple in your loving arms! May they be fruitful and multiply so that they can raise wonderful children who will be strong and mighty in Your kingdom!!

IS THAT A BARN...YOU BET IT IS!!!!!!!!!!!
The barn/house is now fully enclosed!!! YEE HAW!!! It has been a long time in the making, but seeing how the barn looks now, I realize it has been worth the wait! We now have as much room as we need for storage.
I cannot begin to tell you how nice it is to have enough shelter for everything.
My family is thrilled that I will no longer be asking them if everything is covered when it rains!
The guys have started framing the inside. Sarah and I are so excited we can hardly contain ourselves!
Now, having said all that, I would like to say that our family has been praying for all the families in Connecticut. The barn, the farm and all of those things are important to us, but this last week has, once again, put things into perspective. I was looking on Facebook earlier this morning and found a link that, I believe, is very appropriate. I have never lost a child, but this man has and his point of view seems very wise to me.

Wise words
COLUMBINE STUDENT'S FATHER 12 YEARS AGO
Darrell Scott, the father of Rachel Scott, a victim of the Columbine High School shootings in Littleton, Colorado, was invited to address the House Judiciary Committee's subcommittee in 1999. What he said to our national leaders during this special session of Congress was painfully truthful.
These courageous words spoken by Darrell Scott are powerful, penetrating, and deeply personal. There is no doubt that God sent this man as a voice crying in the wilderness.. The following is a portion of the transcript:
"Since the dawn of creation there has been both good & evil in the hearts of men and women. We all contain the seeds of kindness or the seeds of violence. The death of my wonderful daughter, Rachel Joy Scott, and the deaths of that heroic teacher, and the other eleven children who died must not be in vain. Their blood cries out for answers.
"The first recorded act of violence was when Cain slew his brother Abel out in the field. The villain was not the club he used.. Neither was it the NCA, the National Club Association. The true killer was Cain, and the reason for the murder could only be found in Cain's heart.
"In the days that followed the Columbine tragedy, I was amazed at how quickly fingers began to be pointed at groups such as the NRA. I am not a member of the NRA. I am not a hunter. I do not even own a gun. I am not here to represent or defend the NRA - because I don't believe that they are responsible for my daughter's death.
Therefore I do not believe that they need to be defended. If I believed they had anything to do with Rachel's murder I would be their strongest opponent.
I am here today to declare that Columbine was not just a tragedy -- it was a spiritual event that should be forcing us to look at where the real blame lies! Much of the blame lies here in this room. Much of the blame lies behind the pointing fingers of the accusers themselves. I wrote a poem just four nights ago that expresses my feelings best.
Your laws ignore our deepest needs,
Your words are empty air.
You've stripped away our heritage,
You've outlawed simple prayer.
Now gunshots fill our classrooms,
And precious children die.
You seek for answers everywhere,
And ask the question "Why?"
You regulate restrictive laws,
Through legislative creed.
And yet you fail to understand,
That God is what we need!
"Men and women are three-part beings. We all consist of body, mind, and spirit. When we refuse to acknowledge a third part of our make-up, we create a void that allows evil, prejudice, and hatred to rush in and wreak havoc. Spiritual presences were present within our educational systems for most of our nation's history. Many of our major colleges began as theological seminaries. This is a historical fact. What has happened to us as a nation? We have refused to honor God, and in so doing, we open the doors to hatred and violence. And when something as terrible as Columbine's tragedy occurs -- politicians immediately look for a scapegoat such as the NRA. They immediately seek to pass more restrictive laws that contribute to erode away our personal and private liberties. We do not need more restrictive laws. Eric and Dylan would not have been stopped by metal detectors. No amount of gun laws can stop someone who spends months planning this type of massacre. The real villain lies within our own hearts.
"As my son Craig lay under that table in the school library and saw his two friends murdered before his very eyes, he did not hesitate to pray in school. I defy any law or politician to deny him that right! I challenge every young person in America , and around the world, to realize that on April 20, 1999, at Columbine High School prayer was brought back to our schools. Do not let the many prayers offered by those students be in vain. Dare to move into the new millennium with a sacred disregard for legislation that violates your God-given right to communicate with Him. To those of you who would point your finger at the NRA -- I give to you a sincere challenge.. Dare to examine your own heart before casting the first stone!
My daughter's death will not be in vain! The young people of this country will not allow that to happen!"
