Road Trip, Rental Houses, and Wedding Plans...Wonderful!!! Part 3

YES!!!  We have made it to the part of the story where we decide to rent a house close to the ranch!  This is just a temporary arrangement.  Our plan is to be in this cute little house just until the end of July!  Here are some pictures of the house that we are calling "home" for this time in our lives!

It has been really wonderful to be able to spread out a bit, but to be honest I do miss the bus.  Now, is that crazy?!  I don't think so.  That bus has been terrific shelter when we had nothing else!  And it will be terrific shelter if we ever need it again.  Here is a picture of the bus for those of you who have never seen it before!

NOW, onto wedding plans!  This has been an amazing time for all of the family, but especially for Barrett!  He is planning a wedding feast where he will be united with the love of his life!  He and Devin talk on the phone every night and are making long distance memories.  They will be married on April 1st and that is NO JOKE!  They will spend their first week of married bliss with friends and family at Family Week (this camp celebrates the Week of Passover) and then they will leave for a sweet honeymoon to Colorado!  After all that, they will come back to Oklahoma to settle into ranch life!

We give praise to the Father in Heaven for blessing us and Barrett with such an answer to prayer! Devin is the answer to those prayers and she already has a very special place in our hearts!

That's all for now.  We will have pictures up soon from the ranch.  The barn (house) foundation is being poured and the barn walls should soon be going up!   WOO HOO!!  I pray that all of you are blessed!  Shalom (peace) to all!!!

    1. Dear Abby, They will be coming back to Oklahoma after a trip to Colorado. Barrett is planning on building them a house on the property we have, but they will be in the 5th wheel until that is complete. The 5th wheel is already set up out at the land and we will be moving the bus out there after the wedding and Family week.

Haven't talked with you in a while. Hope all is going GREAT!! Looking forward to seeing everyone very soon!!

  2. Thank you so much for sharing this story. I found your blog via the HaYovel sight (I think either that or it was through another blog). I am forward to the wedding story when you post it. Also, I have put an email into the HaYovel folks for more information because I am seriously praying about joining in the harvest this fall. I'd love to hear from you more of your experiences...
    thanks,
    Amanda
