WEDDING!!!

WOW!  I know that is a small word, but it is what comes to mind when I think of Barrett and Devin's Wedding!!!

I do not think it could have gone any better!  When Devin got out of the car at the campground to wait for Barrett, the tension just got higher!  It was a good tension that was filled with excitement!

And then he was in sight!!!  I have never seen such emotion from a bride!  Devin was beautiful and hopeful and shaking like a leaf!  She was so ready to meet her groom!  None of us could have held her back and none of us would have wanted to do that!

Barrett jumped from the carriage that he was riding in and began to run to his bride.  At the same time, Devin began to run from all of us to her groom!  It was like watching something happen in slow motion!  SO BEAUTIFUL!!!  SUCH LOVE!!!

Leaving the campground and heading to the amphitheater for the ceremony!  A beautiful couple in a beautiful carriage!!

The ceremony was terrific!  Monty and Gene did a great job, but I must say that it was the Grandaddy's that were the highlight!  Both of Barrett's Grandaddy's prayed blessings over the new couple!  Those prayers were so special and Barrett and Devin will surely be blessed so much because of them!

Then it was time to dance!  The reception was super!  The food was plentiful and the fellowship was unbeatable!!!

So many people helped in so many ways to make this day amazing!  Our thanks go out to all of those who brought food and helped with decorations or lighting or sound!!  You are all wonderful and we couldn't have done it without you!  Special thanks go to Sandy Williams for being in charge of organizing all the food!  THANK YOU SANDY!!!

We are truly grateful to the Father in Heaven for allowing our family to be a part of something so special!  We pray that all the glory goes to Him!  After all, it is His way and His story that we were trying to show!  His love for us (His bride) is without end and our family prays that Barrett and Devin's Wedding showed that, even in some small way!!

  1. I've never commented on your blog before, but the D---- family gave me the link to your blog last year. I must say, the wedding was beautiful! That is so romantic, the carriage, running to each other and all. Put a huge smile on my face. :) I pray Yahuwah will bless you both, May he guard and protect you and keep you both safe in your life together. It is a blessing to find a spouse who believes as we do. HalleluYAH!

    Have a blessed Shabbat!

  5. The wedding was so beautiful, the marriage must be amazing!! I remember this day so well. It was our first time at Family Week and we had never witnessed a wedding like this. Gerald and I would love so much if this happened with our Kelsey and a strong man of Yeshua.
